THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE SERGEANT SHANE RHOADES !

Shane is a post-active service Sergeant of the United States Marine Corps (he picked up Sergeant five months after his EAS in 2007). His job in the Marines was Aviation Ordnanceman working with Cobras and Hueys (which were cast off helicopters from the Army during the Vietnam War). He served three tours in Iraq, supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. Two of those tours were at Camp Al Asad located in the Anbar Province, located southwest of Baghdad. The other tour he was attached to a Navy command supporting a MEU and was stationed on the USS Nassau LHA-4 at that time. It was the 2nd oldest vessel in the Navy only behind the USS Oriskany. Besides serving his country in its time of need, he enjoyed the time he served with the men and women of HML/A-167, The Warriors. The fun they had while back in country or out in Iraq loading ammo and weapons on helicopters will always be fond memories he will keep with him for the rest of my life. The one attribute he gained while being active in the Marines is not stopping a job or task until it's fully completed; otherwise he feels unaccomplished.
